Our mission is to enhance the Gretna community by offering events that attract new people into town and expose them to the area and its businesses. We organize the annual Bluegrass Festival in early summer along with the Town of Gretna and Revitalization of Greater Gretna; the Old Timers’ Jubilee in October, Martha Cardwell Memorial Scholarship Fund awarded to a Gretna High School student each year and the annual Christmas parade. All of our events bring hundreds to the Gretna area not only to attend these events but also patronize the Gretna businesses. None of these events are geared for fundraising, but rather they are community services for the enjoyment of our residents and the exposure of our town and surrounding area.
Our membership meetings for 2012 are the first Thursday of each month, at noon, at the following locations:

January, February, March and April - we meet at Crossroad's Restaurant at noon.

May, June, July and August - we meet at Mama Rosa's Restaurant at noon.

September, October and November - we meet at C & E's Restaurant at noon.

December is our annual banquet catered by C & E's Restaurant - date, place and time TBA
Come join us for lunch (Dutch treat). We try to keep our meetings to one hour, discussing business while we dine.
We invite anyone to attend our meetings and encourage them to bring new ideas to our group to better enhance our community.
